In this present work, we report on optical and electrical properties of Zn-doped NiO thin film deposited on ITO coated glass substrate by using sol-gel spin coating technique. The grown thin films were characterized by UV-Visible, X-Ray Diffraction, Atomic Force Microscopy, Field Electron Scanning Microscope, and current –voltage measurement. Interesting result have been obtained from optical spectra. Absorption peak values was increased with the increase in doping concentration of Zinc. The surface roughness of the Zn:NiO thin film was estimated by using AFM. Other morphological properties were characterized by XRD and FE-SEM. Current voltage characteristics study will be presented in details. References: 1) Guo, W.;Hui, K. N.; Hui, K. S. Materials Letters Rev.2013,92,5. 2) Shewta Moghe, A.D Acharya, Richa Panda, S. B.
